Survivors Engagement Event 4: Commitments to Survivors of Historical Child Abuse

You are invited to attend an event hosted by CELCIS (Centre for Excellence for Looked After Children in Scotland) on behalf of the Scottish Government. This event is an opportunity for you to share your views on the range of commitments made by the Scottish Government to survivors of historical child abuse, including a National Inquiry. The Scottish Government are keen to hear your views to help them to shape what the Inquiry should cover and what skills and qualities it should look for in a chair and panel.

The events will also focus on the other parts of the Action Plan on Justice for Victims of Historic Abuse of Children in Care including: a Survivor Support Fund; Commemoration and Time Bar.

This event will be conducted in a safe environment and support will be available for those who need it. These events are for survivors and their families only. Care provider organisations will be invited to separate events.

All events will take place from 17.45 to 20.15 with registration beginning at 17.15.
